Raúl Miguel Rodríguez is one of the most complete musicians of our country.
A well known conductor in Spanish and South America, Raul Miguel was awarded the 2nd prize at the International Orquestra Conducting Competition in London, organized by London Classical Solists Orchestra. His formation as conductor was together with the prestigious conductor Georg Pehlivanian having recived advice from teachers like Jorna Panula, André Waignein, Jose Rafael Pascual Vilaplana, Octav Calleya, Lorenzo Ramos or Achim Holub.
Trumpet player, he has colaborated with orchestras such as the National Orchestra of Spain, Reina Sofía Chamber Orchestra, Berlin Statskapelle Orchestra, Deuscht Oper, Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic, with conductors such as Daniel Barenboin, Zubin Meta, Cristian Thielemann, Marc Mikosky , Rafael Frubeck de Burgos, Georg Pehlivanian, Eliau Inbal, etc.
He has been awarded with a Latin Gramy to the best disc of clasical music for his collaboration with Paquito D’Rivera, in the recording of "History of the Soldier" by Igor Stravinsky.
His concern for a humanistic training leads him to enter doctoral studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
He has conducted numerous ensembles, pointing his collaboration as assistant director in the JONDE, JORCAM, London Classical Soloists, Symphonic Banda del Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Getafe, Banda Sinfónica Complutense of Alcala de Henares, Banda de Conciertos de San José (Costa Rica), Banda de conciertos de Heredia, European Soloists Orchestra, Festival de Almansa's Orchestra, Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra (Russia), Orquesta Nacional de Guatemala, Orquesta de Camerata de Castilla la Mancha.
He has conducted soloists as Reinhold Friedrich, Manuel Blanco, James Ackley, Eriko Takezawa, amon others.
